Business aviation is a pioneer within the entire aerospace industry; it steadily drives new concepts and solutions forwards thanks to its agility and openness to technology and innovation. At Web Manuals, the companies we work for have the same mindset, and are thus helping our company set a new standard in digitizing manuals.
A lot of this openness is, to quite some extent, thanks to young professionals in the industry who can move these trends further and help change things for the better. Particularly in the short term, I believe that young professionals can help companies adapt to new, more efficient and more agile ways of working by improving internal processes with different digital tools. Long term, young professionals can impact the world in general by making business travel even more efficient and sustainable.
At One Young World, I look forward to learning more from young leaders on how they work to empower different groups of people, and how they create and measure positive impact. At Web Manuals, we have a foundation that owns 3% of the company and receives 3% of the annual dividends; this foundation supports female education and entrepreneurship in low and mid-low-income countries. I believe that we can take the learnings from how other companies and industries work to better their communities and apply them to business aviation.
Furthermore, I am keen to meet my peers and exchange ideas on how we can cooperate across countries and sectors, as we can always do more together. That is probably the biggest strength we have as humans: cooperation.
ABOUT ONE YOUNG WORLD AND BUSINESS AVIATION
One Young World is a global charity that gathers together young leaders from around the world, empowering them to make lasting connections and create positive change. The annual Summit stages talent from global and national companies, NGOs, universities and other forward-thinking organisations as well as world leaders, who debate, formulate and share innovative solutions for the pressing issues the world faces. This year’s Summit will host exceptional young leaders from 190+ countries, with 10 delegates from the business aviation industry attending, providing an opportunity to showcase the sector’s commitment to being a progressive and responsible corporate citizen.
