Business aviation is not just an exquisite form of travel which increases accessibility to various points in the world, it’s also a community of people united by the same passion which becomes infectious the moment you dive into it. I take pride in working for this sector which brings together people from different backgrounds.
It is a creative and innovative industry that pushes the boundaries of technological progress. What excites me about the industry is that it strongly holds its position on the global arena and demonstrates regularly how prominent and important its role is.
For example, business aviation can play a significant role in urgent matters such as quickly bringing together world leaders to prevent or manage global-scale catastrophes (such as a far-reaching economic crisis) or enabling the medical community to literally save lives (with medical and humanitarian aid flights) – and this can all be done using the same aircraft!
But in my opinion, it is the passion and expertise in this sector that cannot be simply replaced with machines and technology. It is an exciting combination of both. I believe that young professionals are the future of the industry. We have been raised with more sustainable values than the previous generations, and we understand the importance and responsibility that lies upon us. Our generation is driven and motivated, and we want to make a difference in the world.
I believe it would be fair to say that we are yet to see the impact that can be made by the young professionals. We can expect a major breakthrough given the mindsets we have adopted from a young age, our awareness of sustainable development goals, and, most importantly, the energy and willingness that we have to make this world better with our fresh ideas and out-of-the-box thinking.
