Working in the industry for almost 7 years, I have seen the huge value Business aviation has added to the lives of many people around the world. Now, Business aviation is more essential than ever, especially to remote countries and areas which are not connected by other means of transport, and where passenger and cargo flights were paused or stopped due to the Covid-19 pandemic. Business aviation aircraft are used to evacuate people, transport much-needed and essential medical equipment and supplies, and also for air medical evacuation of patients.
In normal circumstances, Business aviation helps business travelers reach destinations they can’t reach easily and efficiently in other modes of flying and traveling. Furthermore, Business aviation contributes to all the players in the aviation industry at both the origin and destination airports.
Young professionals are more open and flexible to both change and new technological advancements that help progress the industry at a rapid pace. Current industry employees will be able to bridge their industry knowledge and current practices with these new innovations. This will help Business aviation grow without moving too far from its foundational practices that still serve as the basis for the industry.
What do I hope to learn from One Young World 2021? They say travel cures racism, and I say that working with people from other countries around the world opens one’s mind to different cultures and ways of thinking. It helps break stereotypes! Working with leaders from other industries helps generate creative and innovative ideas that will help advance and change Business aviation.
